WDR Event

Operating as a specialized digital channel of the Westdeutscher Rundfunk, this station is dedicated to broadcasting significant live events and sessions of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament. The schedule prioritizes the transmission of debates, special reports, and events that cannot be accommodated within the standard daily programming of other WDR networks due to their length or specific nature. Information regarding current broadcast times and program schedules is provided via the official website wdr.de. Occasional sports broadcasts and specific cultural events are integrated into the programming as required. This service expands the public broadcasting information spectrum by focusing exclusively on event-driven audio content without musical interruptions.
