KCRW Eclectic24

Operating as a 24-hour music stream, this digital extension of the Santa Monica-based public radio station KCRW focuses on independent and alternative music. The programming features an uninterrupted flow of tracks without traditional DJ talk breaks, prioritizing discovery of new artists alongside deeper cuts from established performers.

Listeners can access this stream directly through the kcrw.com website. The station draws from the same music library used for KCRW’s terrestrial broadcasts, including specialty programs that explore global sounds and emerging electronic genres. This digital channel maintains a broadcast output distinct from the station's main news and talk-heavy schedule, providing a continuous musical alternative for those outside the terrestrial 89.9 FM signal range. It functions as a consistent showcase for artist interviews and live in-studio performances recorded at the station's Annenberg Performance Studio.
