Radio UNAM

Broadcasting from the central campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City, this station operates on the 860 AM and 96.1 FM frequencies. The schedule prioritizes the dissemination of arts, humanities, and scientific research while omitting conventional commercial broadcast formats. It manages a significant national historical phonographic archive containing original recordings of university lectures and concerts. Via radio.unam.mx, the signal provides original productions ranging from jazz and classical music to social analysis programs. These programs are produced largely by the academic community, students, and specialists invited from various intellectual disciplines.
