Radio Carcoma

Established in 1988, this station began as an independent voice for the Canillejas neighborhood of Madrid. Recognized as a community-driven broadcaster, it provides a distinct alternative to mainstream commercial formats by focusing on cultural programs, humor, and specialized music. The station is accessible via 107.9 FM and its digital presence at radiocarcoma.com, where it continues to broadcast its non-conformist content.

Since its inception, the station has relied on the collaboration of volunteers dedicated to independent media production. Its programming schedule includes notable shows such as "Sonido Criminal," "Blanco y Negro," and "El Duende del Parque," which emphasize classic rock and local artistic perspectives. Throughout its history, the project has maintained a close relationship with neighborhood social movements, providing a space for content that operates outside of conventional radio formulas.
