CADENA 100

Broadcasting adult contemporary music across Spain, Cadena 100 has been a prominent national radio station since its launch on May 1, 1992. The station, operated by Ábside Media and owned by the Spanish Episcopal Conference, delivers "La Mejor Variedad Musical" (The Best Musical Variety) to listeners, featuring pop, dance-pop, and international hits. A distinguishing characteristic of its programming is the commitment to providing 45 minutes of uninterrupted music each hour.

Based in Madrid, Cadena 100 serves a broad family audience, with a significant listenership among adults aged 25 to 65. Its lineup includes popular programs such as the morning show "¡Buenos días, Javi y Mar!", which is recognized as one of the most listened-to breakfast programs in the country, and "De Sábado" with Christian Gálvez. The station also holds annual events like "Cadena 100 Por Ellas," a charity concert supporting breast cancer awareness, which originated from a listener's personal story. In Catalonia, Cadena 100 also features specific programming in Catalan, broadcast from its Barcelona studios, complementing its nationwide FM presence across cities like Alicante (95.6 FM), Barcelona (100.0 FM), Madrid (100.0 FM), and Valencia (99.0 FM).
