KAN 88 - כאן 88

Broadcasting under the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, this station provides a broad selection of alternative, indie, and classic rock music. It operates as a specialized wing of the KAN network, focusing on cultural and musical diversity rather than standard news cycles. The programming includes thematic shows such as '88 Minutes,' where specific musical concepts are explored, and thorough examinations of blues, soul, and jazz repertoires.

Listeners can access the broadcasts across the country on various FM frequencies, including 88.0 FM, which remains its primary signal in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Unlike other national channels, this outlet maintains a strict music-first policy throughout the day. It also broadcasts live concert recordings and spotlights local Israeli independent artists who rarely receive airtime on commercial radio.
