Catalunya Ràdio

Broadcasting primarily in Catalan, this public service radio station operates under the Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals. It maintains a extensive network of transmitters, with its main signal originating from Barcelona and reaching across the entire territory of Catalonia and beyond. The station provides continuous news updates, political analysis, and cultural programming throughout the day. Its schedule features long-running programs such as 'El matí de Catalunya Ràdio,' which focuses on morning information and social debate. Listeners can access the station via numerous FM frequencies, including 101.3 MHz in Barcelona, or through the ccma.cat portal.

Since its launch in 1983, the outlet has prioritized the promotion of the Catalan language and identity. Unlike commercial stations, its content is defined by institutional independence and a commitment to public information. It also manages specialized digital channels, further expanding its reach into music and sports broadcasting.
