BR Schlager

Operating as a digital-only radio channel, this broadcaster is managed by Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) and focuses on the genre of German Schlager and international oldies. Headquartered at the Studio Franken in Nuremberg since February 2015, the station provides content exclusively via digital platforms including DAB+, DVB-C, and DVB-S, moving away from traditional analog frequencies.

Programming consists of a variety of music alongside informational segments, news updates, and interviews with artists. The station rebranded from its former name, Bayern plus, in early 2021 as part of a broader shift in its presentation and program schedule. Broadcasts are produced from its regional base in Nuremberg, covering the state of Bavaria. Listeners access the content through the official website at br.de or via digital radio receivers across the region.
