1LIVE DIGGI

Digital-only broadcasting from Germany, this outlet functions as a sub-brand of the Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) public media corporation. The station focuses exclusively on urban pop, hip-hop, and electronic music, specifically targeting a youth demographic through a platform that lacks traditional terrestrial FM distribution. Listeners access this content primarily via the 1live.de website and various digital audio platforms. The programming schedule excludes the talk-heavy elements found on its parent station, 1LIVE, by emphasizing continuous music rotation. Staff produce specialized segments such as the '1LIVE DIGGI Charts' and curated DJ sets that highlight emerging domestic and international talent. Broadcast output remains strictly digital, utilizing DAB+ and internet-based streaming to reach its audience across the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond.
