Word FM

Serving a broad audience across central and eastern Pennsylvania, southwestern New Jersey, and northwestern Maryland, Word FM offers a distinctive blend of uplifting Christian programming. Since its launch in 1993, this listener-supported station has focused on contemporary Christian music, providing a curated selection not typically found on other local stations. With its base in Harleysville, Pennsylvania, the network reaches communities including Lancaster on 92.5 FM and the Lehigh Valley on multiple frequencies such as 88.7 FM, 90.3 FM, and 103.5 FM. Beyond its musical core, Word FM integrates faith-based podcasts, inspiring stories, and family-oriented programs designed to strengthen faith. In 2009, the station evolved its musical focus from contemporary Christian hit radio to Christian adult contemporary, thereby providing a mature and reflective listening experience. As a non-commercial educational entity, its mission extends to community outreach and missions, sustained by audience contributions.
