Radio Voyage

Debuting on the FM dial in January 2009, this Istanbul-based signal introduced a distinct sonic architecture focused entirely on relaxing, experimental genres [1.1.4]. At 107.4 MHz, the station departs from standard commercial pop rotations, dedicating its airwaves to an eclectic rotation of ambient, new age, avant-classical, and downtempo tracks. The daily schedule integrates world music and ethnic jazz, deliberately encouraging audiences to discover alternative global soundscapes.

Recognizable for its globally focused music motto, the channel curates a continuous stream of atmospheric film soundtracks and Gregorian pop crossovers. Its highly specialized programming gained rapid recognition, culminating in a 'Radio of the Year' accolade in 2011. Radiating across the Marmara region, the format offers a tranquil, uninterrupted audio alternative amidst the notoriously energetic Turkish media environment. Instead of typical talk segments, the focus remains strictly on continuous, soothing audio progression. The audio curation deliberately avoids high-tempo chart-toppers, creating an oasis of calm for metropolitan commuters and office workers alike.
