PROFM

Broadcasting from the capital city of Romania, this station maintains a long-standing history as one of the country's most established media outlets. Since its initial launch in 1993, the broadcaster has focused on a contemporary musical identity, delivering a consistent stream of pop, dance, and adult contemporary hits. Ownership transitioned to the RCS & RDS group in 2014, securing its place within a broader national network.

The station operates on the 102.8 MHz FM frequency in București and maintains an active digital presence through its website, profm.ro, where it offers live streaming and updated daily programming. Listeners tune in for specific show formats such as the morning broadcast, WTFun, which features entertainment segments and guest interviews. Throughout its three decades of existence, the brand has remained a fixture for urban audiences by incorporating live sessions and interactive audience competitions. The station also curates specialized digital sub-channels to broaden its reach beyond terrestrial coverage. It remains a fixture in the local audio landscape, balancing classic pop music with modern digital integration.
