Whores to Culture

Re-enactors from the Knowne World Courtesans research and discuss the history of sex workers before 1600 CE in a series of digital salons. We welcome guests from all over the world and explore topics of sexuality, gender, marginalized identities, power dynamics, illicit economies, beauty ideals, cultural conceptions of love, and the constant impact of sex workers and sex work on the history of the world.
